Carlee Mae Barmby:
Carlee Mae Barmby is a freshman from California studying Brain and Behavioral Sciences within the College of Health and Human Sciences. Since her start here last semester, Carlee has become involved quickly. She started her involvement within the HORIZONS program for first-generation college students. Then, after discovering and becoming a part of Purdue Leaders Forum, Carlee immersed herself in the opportunities Purdue and West Lafayette have to offer. She is now a volleyball coach for a local club, a Boiler Gold Ambassador, a part of Purdue University Dance Marathon, and serves as an Associate Director and the Sargent in Arms for Purdue Student Government. With high hopes for her future as a Boilermaker and beyond, Carlee is ecstatic about the next opportunity she has- the chance to represent her college and fellow students as a Senator in Student Government.

Platform:
Bus Loop Efficacy
In order to create an even more efficient way for Boilermakers to travel with City-Bus, there will be work towards the creation of another loop. This loop will be like a Silver Loop going in the opposite direction. Pushing for assistance for students trying to get to classes faster is essential to their educations.
Update Get Involved
For students attempting to find the right organizations for them, Get Involved is not completely helpful. It is imperative to support and endorse Purdue University students to partake in extracurricular activities and take advantage of all the opportunities given to us on campus.
Forward Modernizing of Purdue Student Government Communications
Internally and externally, our Student Government should be pursuing the connections. A better ‘checks and balances’ system must be implemented within PSG to begin the improvement for external communications as well. Upgrading the content and consistency of discussion between PSG, students, and organizations is a necessity for the betterment of Purdue as a universal force for higher education along with personal and university wide growth.
Enhancement of Underprivileged, Underrepresented, & First Generation Organizations
All organizations that assist students whose backgrounds or stereotypes may lead the general public to believe that certain individuals may not succeed or even get to college is vital to the diversity of our campus. By promoting and creating awareness of these organizations, current and future Boilermakers of all backgrounds will be brought together and recognized.
