Minjae Kim:
Minjae Kim was born in Daegu, South Korea, on October 2nd, 1993. He was raised in South Korea until the age of 14, and lived in East Tennessee for 4 years. On August, 2012, Minjae Kim started his journey as a Boilermaker at West Lafayette. At first, he had no idea in what major he should choose; thus, registered as an Undergraduate Studies Program student. He gradually was benenfited from this program very much. Nonetheless, he realized that many other USP students were not thinking in a same way and many students in different colleges did not even know USP. Ultimately, he decided to run for USP senator to raise his voice up for USP students and change the perspectives and the future of USP for incoming students.

Rachel Bibler:
Hi my name is Rachel Bibler and I am a freshman this year studying communications, political science and minoring in Spanish. This past year I served in Purdue Student Government as a Senator representing the Undergraduate Studies Program. Throughout the year I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of senate serving my fellow constituents in the undergraduate studies program. I really enjoy being able to make a difference for Purdue University and implement changes I feel would benefit the University as a whole. I really have a passion for working with other people and having a position in making a positive difference. I am looking forward to finishing off my freshman year as a Senator and looking forward to my following time at Purdue University.

This past year I really enjoyed serving as a senator for the Undergraduate Studies Program and was very interested in making positive changed benefiting Purdue University. To begin, I have been working on implementing hydration stations in the Stewart Center; which are a more efficient way to fill up your water bottle while saving water bottles as well. I feel very strongly about improving the environment on campus along with encouraging more students to drink more water. For the 2013-2014 school years I plan on adding more ways to improve campus by adding more trash cans, more hydration stations in the academic buildings and encouraging better ways to take care of the environment. Along with these goals I have in mind, I also plan to make the Undergraduate Studies Program more involved with the student body and inform more students about what the program is and how it can be very beneficial for students unsure about their career path. It is important to me to make a difference to Purdue University and serve my constituents.
